Well lookee-lookee what I found!
Yesterday, whilst doing one of my random internet searches I stumbled across these AMAZING vintage-inspired crates. AND, of course, I almost jumped out of my skin when I found out these beauties are designed and crafted by a LOCAL company (Yay for RSA!)
Capetonian company, Oscar W Designs, creates these quirky décor and furniture pieces from reclaimed timber – all with a distinct vintage and retro twist.
The range of crates and boxes, aptly called Crate Fun, are manufactured from either reclaimed European Pine or 12mm ply and features gorgeous and colourful vintage-inspired illustrations and branding all designed by owner, Oscar Wiegerink. Such a playful and gorgeous way to stow your stuff! OR, what about using it as a lovely herb planter – perfect for a quiet kitchen corner. You can even order your crate with castors – for those who want a more portable storage solution.
Not stopping at crates, Oscar W Designs also manufactures gorgeous vintage-inspired signage & ad boards, furniture pieces (also made from reclaimed timber), and quirky wall clocks! The coolest part – they specialize mostly in bespoke work so you can custom your crate or signage board to your own specifications!
So what do you think? Aren’t these just to die for?!
