Sourcing fabrics and putting together schemes for our interior design / decorating projects can be a highly creative and inspirational process. We often get sucked into this inspirational flow - “playing” with different schemes and options… sometimes for hours. The fabric scheme above was just one of the options we put together earlier this year for a reception seating area in an upmarket Retirement Facility in Constantia, Cape Town. When sourcing fabrics and finishes for our projects we frequently present the client with two or more schemes. It is always interesting to see which scheme the client is automatically drawn to. We spotted this little #styled nook in the @hertexfabrics Wynberg showroom a while back while sourcing for a project and absolutely loved the look. The gorgeous soft pastel pink of the English Roll-arm chair, the sage green throw, and the plush muted coral pink of the velvet scatter cushion work together beautifully.
