I have stumbled across so many clever and interesting things to do with a plain wooden or wire clothes / coat hanger. I immediately thought these speedy DIY ideas would make for a perfect décor tip mini series…
#43 Keep you necklaces organized and untangled by upcyling an old wooden clothes hanger into a nifty jewellery organizer. Simply drill holes into the bottom of your coat hanger and screw in a dozen or so cup hooks. You can paint or decorate your hanger to compliment your room décor. Now you have a no-fuss, movable and attractive way to store and display you beautiful necklaces.
this is so cool. I have exactly this for my necklaces hanging at my dressing table. It’s been painted a matt silver colour, which adds that hint of glam. The useful knack of having it on display this way, as opposed to having it lie in a drawer of something – is that you can see at a glance what it is you need to don on the day. And what to toss from lack of use.
